My chose film is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, it was either this, Edward Scissor hands or Big Fish. I hated Big Fish and I thought that Edward Scissorhands has been done before and theres so much on it so I wanted to do something a bit different. In the film, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory it looks into the childhood of Willy Wonker, which shows you that he had a difficult relationship with his father and runs away from home. This is a classic move from Tim Burton to have the star (Johnny Depp) have a troubled childhood, which mirrors his.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is one of my favorite films so I'm hoping because of that reason I wont have that much trouble with it!
